Two more people have died from listeria in the United States.
The sickness is linked to ready-to-eat pasta salads and meals sold in many big stores, like Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Kroger, and Walmart.
Now, 27 people in 18 states are sick. Twenty-five went to hospital. Six people died. One unborn baby died.
The pasta came from a company called Nate’s Fine Foods.
The company and government agencies are checking the problem.
Nate’s Fine Foods says safety is its top priority and it is sorry.
Check your fridge and freezer. Do you have the recalled salads or meals? If yes, throw them away.
If you are not sure, call the store.
