Google is building a personal health coach. It lives inside the Fitbit app.
The coach uses Gemini, Google’s powerful AI. It gives simple advice for sleep, fitness, and health.
The coach watches your daily data, like steps and hours of sleep.
It sends helpful tips. It may say, “Try going to bed 15 minutes earlier,” or “Add a short walk after lunch.”
It helps you set goals and build healthy habits.
Behind the scenes, three small AI “agents” work together.
One chats with you. One looks at your numbers and makes charts. The last one is a fitness expert that plans workouts.
Google asks health experts to check the coach’s tips.
They use a test called SHARP. It checks safety, helpfulness, accuracy, relevance, and personalization.
More than one million human checks make sure the coach is trustworthy.
The public preview starts this week.
It is open to Fitbit Premium users in the United States who use Android. iOS will come later.
Users must choose to share their Fitbit data to get personal advice.
